I’m so sorry about your cat, Kare. That’s really hard, and I’m sending you internet hugs and good thoughts for making it through the week.
@Stonegypsy He’s moving overseas in February. Before, he thought it would be somewhere not too far, like NY or Boston. That’s drivable, and we said we’d figure that out when the time comes. But overseas… is a big deal.
We talked about it on the weekend, and I think we’re both a bit confused about whether or not we should keep seeing each other for the next 2 months til he leaves. He made a bunch of comments like “It’s only a 5 hour time difference” and “When you come visit me we can do X,Y,Z” and even jokingly “So, when are you moving to [insert city name]?” On the flip side, he also made the comment that long distance between continents is nearly impossible, that he’s done it before with someone he thought was the right person but it didn’t work out.
Soooooo…. yeah. I have no idea yet what I think or how I feel. I’m still processing this information and my brain keeps spinning. We haven’t mentioned it since Saturday night, but in the meantime he’s still been calling me and texting me as usual.
I guess I’ll let you know what happens after we sit down and talk about it again face to face.
So this brush…
Pixie haircut. But I have naturally wavy, course hair. And a lot of it. It’s not think. Just a lot. And it grows out. Not down. I had triangle head in m teens. I digress. Anyway…. I use a mini flatiron on my bangs every day. Thoughts on whether the brush would work instead?
I don’t think so, KTFran. For short hair I think a mini flatiron is your best bet. You need to have hair that’s longer than the brush is wide, so you can get it in close to your scalp while holding onto the ends for tension. But if they make a version of it that’s not a paddle but more of a narrow / traditional brush, then yes.
