@kmtthat that sounds adorable! I’m glad you’re having a good time and he sounds nice. I hope you keep having a good time 🙂
As for me, I’m more confused than ever after going to the ball with my “friend” who certainly acted like we were more than friends that night but keeps telling people we are “just good friends”…
And no I didn’t sleep with him.
@missdre yup, I’ve already decided to have a conversation with him the next time we see each other.
After the ball I was too tipsy to drive so I stayed at his place and we ended up snuggling all night and then going to get breakfast together and then watching movies and snuggling more on Sunday……and this just seems like way more than friend behavior. And it’s messing with my head so if he’s not interested in more than friends, that can’t happen again.
And his friend turned to him at the party and said right in front of me “when are you going to get your shit together and date her already?” And he reiterated that we are friends while I drank my wine. So that was super awkward.
@veritek Ufffff that’s hard. Especially with his friend saying that right in front of you and his response…I’m a big believer in believing who people are when they tell you. I any case I hope the conversation goes well and clarifies things one way or the other. So frustrating when people sent mixed signals :/
@Copa yes, that would be the one. We met on a dating app about this time last year and became really close friends over this past spring and summer.
@kmtthat – It blows. We ended up hanging out Saturday night and it was completely different than last week. We stayed in the living room watching movies and just talking until 3 am. I made no move to sit by him and he made no move to sit by me, so there was none of the cuddling/snuggling foolishness. I had made the decision I would talk to him if he tried that again and he didn’t, so I don’t know if his friend said something to him or he realized he might have stepped over a boundary line, but it was back to being more “friendly”.
Either way I’m not sitting around waiting for him. It’s a crush and if he ever wants to pursue it, I’m game. I have a third date this week with another guy that I like, and we are going roller skating! He’s a roller derby referee so I think that will be really fun.
LianneDecember 12, 2016 at 10:01 am #663802Guys – I bought the brush Kate was raving about last week. She’s totally right. It worked beautifully! It usually takes me 25-35 mins to blow out and flat iron my very wavy/curly, super thick hair straight. Last night I showered and let it air dry while I slept. When I woke it was super wavy in some spots and super curly in others and felt really dry. I smoothed and straightened it with the magic brush and it was like a new head of hair – and it only took me 15 minutes with so much less effort! If you were considering buying it but haven’t yet, just bite the bullet.
December 12, 2016 at 12:20 pm #663821okay so this brush… i was actually looking at one but a round one. Anyone have experience with the round or spinning brushes? Finer hair.. need some more volume and curl
Not personally but there are a lot of video reviews on YouTube. It seems like people get good results with them. I might try one. But I have free blowouts for a year, second time now. I show up for my salon’s anniversary party and bid in the silent auction and no one else does, and I end up winning free cuts and blowouts and since it’s for charity it’s a tax deduction. So if I want the bouncy waves, I leave it to the pros.
