The last wedding I went to, the bride reminds me a lot of you, athletic with a lot up top, and she wore a similar silhouette with spaghetti straps and a fuller, A-line skirt. She looked great.

ETA, no she didn’t, it was a sweetheart neckline but with some illusion see-through fabric above it. But similar in that it gave her a waist, and volume around her hips to balance out her top. When you’re athletic with the straight hips, that helps.

Due to my lats I have always struggled with spaghetti strap ANYTHING. I’m not sold on “If they’re tailored they’ll fit and not slip down.” I think part of why #10 looks so good is because it was in my size. Most of those weren’t.

    Okay, I like 2, 5, 7, and 10. I like 10 on you the best.

Which one do you like best? Even if you opt for something poofier, I think it’s fine for a beach wedding if it’s the dress YOU want. You do you!

Dissenting opinion – I LOVE #7. Especially the color. It’s beautiful. But you look great in all the options.

I vote 10 as well! I agree with Kate that a-line works well for you, but there aren’t a ton of other a-lines in the bunch. I also think the necklines of #8 and #20 looks great on you, but the shapes of those two don’t seem as flattering.

As for the beach, I think #20 would look great at the beach! Actually, I think it would look better for a beach wedding than a lot of the more lacy dresses you tried on. #19 might also look nice for a beach wedding once it’s tailored.

@TheHizzy, 3, 10, and 20. especially 3 cause it has it completely sleeveless, and just enough poof to not make it totally inconvenient on the beach

Unpopular opinion, and I’m ok with that – I love #2 because of how it looks in person. A regular camera in artificial lighting can’t capture the sparkle of that dress. The follow up is #7.

I understand the opinion on A-line style but I also honestly work so hard at the gym with working out (slowly getting back at it post surgery) that I don’t really want to hide it and I feel like the A-line hides the lower half.

The sleeper favorite is #9 (it was like 2 sizes too small in the photo) because of the elegance of the lines.

I love the silhouette of 10. Totally get it if you don’t think the dress itself works but I think it’s definitely the most flattering style. I kind of liked 12 as well but I think it’s even less beachy.

Thanks for sharing! It’s been so long since I looked at wedding dresses and it is fun to see yours and hear what everyone thinks.

I personally love #2 and #3. The lines are flattering on you and overall quite beautiful.
