Also, for me to relax, it really depends on the stressor. For most anxieties, I turn to exercise. When work is stressful, I find myself drinking more (like 1-2 glasses of wine at night after work). If I’m generally feeling stretched thin, I pull a @ktfran and do a “me” day or weekend.
JDOctober 31, 2018 at 5:29 pm #806659I sense a need for some of this coming up. Good reads to remind me to relax a bit. Get my fun heart monitor put on this Friday for 72 hours…again… ugh. I hate that thing being attached to me non stop…and the not showering is super. I seriously think if I don’t have a bath tub soon I may lose it. Stepson has one in his bath but that place is a bio hazard. I clean it on top of his cleaning fairly regularly but then if I take a bath he’d use our bathroom during that time, so I’d have to clean that too, so my stress would just reappear. You’d think by 16 they could get it in the bowl.

I think tonight I’m going to try the glass of wine method. A while ago I had a glass or two of wine with a dinner and I was OUT by 9:00 pm. I’m going to make it a goal to get to bed early today.

About a month ago I was feeling overly anxious, not sleeping, etc. I started taking Cannabis Oil pills (CBD) after work when I was having a night at home and it relaxed me a lot. I also started to sleep better, which in turned helped my anxiety and stress. For me lack of sleep affects so many things.

I was so out of it yesterday I got sent home from work and I slept for a solid couple hours during the day.
I woke up to a phone call saying my wedding dress is in, so it turned things around. I don’t get to pick it up for about a week due to schedule but I’m excited to get that checked off my list!
