Onion goggles exist? Oh man I need that. I’ve used swim goggles before cause I just can’t take it.

In other news, this weekend is Banjo and I’s two year anniversary! We’re doing brunch and a spa day.

I suspect they are essentially just goggled but i saw some that the frames look like onions so I thought that was pretty funny. Really just ANYTHING to keep my eyes dry. I have used my food processor and other tools but often that cuts them to small and then i have to clean the whole thing. They say lighting a candle near you helps but sure doesn’t for me. I have found if I keep them in the fridge they bother me less, I read it somewhere, so when I take my meat out to defrost in the a.m., if I remember I will sometimes throw one in for later.

I’ve been using these onion googles for a few years now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014SQU1A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.ah5BbF2Q0R10

They’ve been so useful, I’d recommend them. I’m sure any other onion googles with good reviews would also work well too. One difference between these and normal googles is foam between your face and the glasses part. I wonder if ski googles would work the same, since they’re pretty similar…

Oh god me too, and I’m good evidence of what happens when you keep it all in. It’s my busy season of work, I’ve had a bunch of shit thrown at me to take on with no handover at all (and I’m in a completely different part of the state), I can’t get anyone on the phone to actually do the job, I have a bunch of travel coming up, my husband isn’t here to help and trying to keep it all together has sent me nearly goddamn crazy. I’ve been trying to not let it get to me but all that’s done is send me into some sort of vicious anxiety spiral.

Thankfully in Australia you can get 10 free sessions with a counsellor a year so I’m signing up for those. I’ve never done it before but it’s better than just hoping a good cry could sort it all out.

@ange good job on signing up. Sounds like you have everyone throwing everything on your plate at once.

JD it’s nothing compared to your run at the moment mate and I’m sorry to hear it, I truly am. Honestly I think end of year just sucks anyway, it sucks. Everyone is tired and ratty and it’s either freezing cold or boiling hot depending on your hemisphere.

Ya. I know even husband is fed up and he is always calm. Called me the other morning saying he cannot wait to leave this state. I think everyone starts getting exhausted and frazzled this time of year with weather changing, holidays approaching and more.
