To briefly bring things back to dating: I think I’m going to cancel on BG tonight. I still feel awful, and I’m really tired from not sleeping well. I found out the headache is part of a cold that’s been going around, not diet changes. I feel bad about it — we spent a lot of time together this/last week, but it was a lot of group stuff, and I was looking forward to doing something just the two of us tonight.

I have zero eye cream recommendations. But if we’re giving and asking for recs at the moment, does anyone have a go-to brand for high-quality women’s t-shirts? I’m looking to add a couple solid tees to my wardrobe — currently don’t even own a plain white t!

These all look like good bets too. I’ve had great results with Neutrogena’s Rapid Wrinkle Repair line of products!

I use the Keihl’s avacado eye cream every night. I haven’t found one I love for day use. I greatly rely on under eye concealer.

@Copa, I use to LOVE the Jcrew vintage tees. They got rid of them. So sad. I haven’t found a replacement yet because when I heard they were discontinuing, I bought a few each in white, black, navy and gray.

I always liked American Apparels Tri blend tees but those can only be had on eBay now. Nordstrom’s band Hinge tends to make some good ones.

I will say, I don’t think they do much that your moisturizer and serum aren’t already doing, and you can apply those right up to your eyes.

But my husband will put on eye cream before a night out, and since he doesn’t regularly use it or a moisturizer, it does make a visible difference.

You can probably get similar results with a dab of good night cream if you don’t want to go too fancy. It’s just a slightly heavier moisturiser essentially as the skin is so delicate.

I don’t worry too much as my grandmother and mom have almost no wrinkles and we have the same skin. I take my face care seriously though. I’ve usually lived off samples from Sephora for eye cream but wouldn’t mind at some point finding something that has a bit more bang. Other than samples I tend to like Clinques eye cream. As much as I spend on other items though i always balk at eye cream prices. The best thing I ever did was use a night mask. I love the Givenchy one but they discountined it. It has changed my skins life. Also made me realize that my skin was dryer than i thought and the night mask really regulated that.

Probably sunscreen, sunglasses, and maybe some retinol are the things that will do anything for your eye area. And of course concealer!

Here’s an article where the author tried two types of extensions. Yeah, they only last 3 weeks, and you aren’t supposed to sleep on your side or have water from the shower hit your face. But they look fabulous.

Oh wow. They look great. No way I’d somehow manage the water and sleep requirements though. Perhaps that makes the decision easier. I could still see doing them for a special occasion.
