    I’ve had really good luck with Lyft’s reservation system as well when I have early-morning flights!

    @Ale
    Yeah, kinda weird! I was so unsure at first because I wasn’t feeling like I normally did with guys I liked (anxious, over-analyzing, obsessing, infatuated), but I’ve been talking through a lot of it with my therapist and reading some self-help books. The book Attached really helped me see some of my past behaviors clearly. I know six months isn’t that long in the grand scheme of things, who knows what’ll happen moving forward, but I’m really happy with how things are. BG is so great — down for literally anything, super easy going, good natured, funny, the very definition of a safe space, and (I think) cute. 🙂 But I think I would’ve passed on him if I’d met him a couple years ago.

    Love that picture @thehizzy!

    And it’s great your in a good place with him @copa!

    I’m starting week 2 of whole30. So far so good…except for some fatigue. Can’t tell if that is the diet or the fact that I’m close to my period. Maybe both. Hopefully it’ll clear up soon. It’s hard to stay motivated to workout.

    I’m wearing my “progress pants” today and they definitely fit better. Crazy that it’s been almost 30 days! I could keep going.

    I wish I was closer to 30 days! I gave myself 2 weeks (that was easier to convince myself to do it) in the beginning. But now I’m thinking I might make 30 days. It’s all in the prep…though it’s exhausting to prep or at least plan 3 meals a day/7 days a week.

    I’m wearing the same kind of thing today @MG!

    @Rangerchic Thirty days seemed horrifying on day one! It gets easier. I’m getting better at the prep. Yesterday I made a breakfast bake to make my mornings more manageable while I’m dog sitting, crispy oven baked potatoes, a brussel sprout dish, and a “cheeseburger” casserole to bring for my lunches. It’s the first week I’ve managed to prep breakfast and lunch. Still winging it for dinners, but it’s getting a little easier to prep and plan.

    My office is closing on Wednesday due to the weather. Woo! I’ll still have to go outside with the dogs, but we’ll make that as fast as possible.

    That’s awesome! I’m better at prepping dinners than I am lunches but I’ve always been bad at lunches. I get bored easily with food repetition.

    Hope the dogs go fast! One of my dogs always takes his time no matter the weather. At least I have a small yard so he can go out by himself now but it was maddening when we moved and were in an apartment at first. He’s got to do the circles, sniff the entire space, do more circles, sniff more, repeat, repeat, repeat!

    I found the best way for me to prep, and keep in mind I don’t need to bring lunch anywhere, is to grill a few chicken breasts on Sunday, steam some broccoli or other veggies and cut up fresh veggies I think I will want to use so they are ready to go. Then for lunch I can chose how to use them quickly and easily with the chicken and my protein. Some days I just have chicken and veggies others I make it into a burrito bowl type thing or something else. To throw breakfast together becomes easier as I have all my veggies chopped and washed so I can just throw them in and make a scramble.

    I don’t prep dinners but that is also since I cook for the family. I always make relatively healthy meals but I will often make them a dish but change it up slightly for myself. Not use a fatty sauce on my food, forego a hamburger bun, something like that.

    Those ladies doing Whole 30. What did you find to be an irritating food to your stomach? Whole 30 is where I learned about gluten and dairy giving me really bad bloat/bowel issues.
