@Veritek33 – clearly your baby is the GOAT.

@Copa, I figured out the smaller barrels are good for my face-framing pieces when I use the Airwrap like a wand. I do most of it with the bigger barrel, then just the front with the smaller one, and they stay nice and wavy that way, without shrinking up too much.

Got my haircut earlier this week and used the Dyson for the first time this morning. This cut has way more layers than before, when I didn’t have many except around my face, so I feel like I’m back on a learning curve.

Ohhh… I haven’t had layers in a while because my hair isn’t thick, but I feel like with the round brush and large barrels you could get the bouncy blow-dry look.

Have you heard of L’Oreal 8-second Wonder Water? You put it on your hair after shampooing, then use conditioner if you want, or not, and it makes your hair wonderfully smooth, shiny, and behaving? I have used it twice now and both times had a great hair day. It uses amino acids, which so does the salon smoothing treatment (Inca Glow) I get for summer. Its claims sound too good to be true, but apparently not.

My hair is pretty thick. I used the round brush and the left half looked great, the right half looked… not bad but not quite right. Ha. It’s raining today and I’m not on camera for work, so doesn’t matter.

I’ve never heard of the Wonder Water but I’ll look into it!

It’s under $10! I was skeptical. I like drugstore skin and makeup but not usually hair products, but it really works. I would be suspicious of using it regularly, like it might build up, but every now and then when you need something extra. My boss today said my hair looked lovely and that I inspire her. ?

I’m on my way to a baby shower but wanted to report that my hair looks fab today. Used the round brush attachment, then the small barrel attachment to touch up pieces around my face. I’m wearing a casual dress and sandals with a low heel. After over a year or going basically nowhere, I feel majorly dressed up today.

Speaking of hair: has anyone tried Prose? The shampoo/conditioner/creams that are allegedly personalized to your hair? I’m curious about trying it.

Got many compliments on my hair at the baby shower. 🙂

I haven’t tried Prose and to my knowledge don’t know anyone who has. I’ve tried high- and low-end shampoos and I have never tried a pricier shampoo that felt worth the money to me, so I just use Kirkland brand from Costco. Ha! Anyway, I say treat yo-self and go for it. If it’s not worth the hype or the money, don’t repurchase.

@veritek… has “the fall” happened yet? I’m just at the tail-end of it all.

I’ve been using R&Co for a few years now and love it

@Copa I usually use Tresseme but my hair is so long now that I’m wanting to wear my natural curl more often so that I dont’ have to dry/straighten it so much. And with midwest humidity I need to try something that will kill the frizz so I decided to splurge and try it. We’ll see how it does for my curls!

@MG I have not! I’m 11 weeks postpartum and still nursing/taking prenatal vitamins and the nurses said it might not happen until I stopped the prenatals. My hair is the thickest and longest it’s every been.

HOWEVER, my skin is so different after having this nugget. I’m breaking out more than i have since I was a teenager. I got lulled into complacency with my extremely low maintenance good skin before this baby.
