Supergoop wasn’t available in Canada for so long I never tried it. Maybe I will. The tinted LRP sunscreen works for me? It doesn’t bother me but I don’t know if there’s better out there.
Oh man the anniversary sale! Nordstrom left Canada this year. I have bought that Chantelle one size fits all underwear haha. They’re good!
I like listening to sleeping podcasts, like bedtime stories for adults. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. The ironic thing is that they are the reason I still have a phone in the bedroom. I guess I could use a blue tooth speaker but it’s kind of a hassle!
Congrats on the new site Wendy!
Agree with copa, anon. Not vain. Wishing you a smooth recovery. Also placed holds on those books!
I’m also on escitalopram. I weaned off it for family planning even though it is mostly ok to be pregnant and taking SSRIs. I wasn’t really sure if it was doing anything. And then once I was totally off it I was feeling really on edge. So I am back on it at a minimal dose. Still I should get back into meditation that’s a good reminder. I’m also seeing my therapist every other week. Unfortunately that’s not covered by my insurance but it’s worth it.
I’m sorry for what you are going through with your husband, Ange.
That’s disappointing @ktfran! I’m not sure about the cast but it would make sense they go from Chicago to Toronto. Six is coming next year and I also am tempted to get tickets!
Sounds promising, Anon
The insurance stuff is foreign to me… That is crazy there are different prices. Do you have to pay up front to the hospital and then claim from your insurance?
Have fun on the next part of your trip copa!!
I’ve now used the Shark 3-4 times. It is really fun to use. I’ve never been able to figure out how to curl my hair. I still need to buy hairdresser clips so I am clip it up for cooling. My hair is quite thick and coarse so day 2 hair isn’t quite noticeable at all. But I think it settles out nicely on day 1 at least.
Ooh how was Hadestown? It is coming to a Toronto this summer and I was thinking of getting tickets.
Hope Anon and ktfran’s procedures go smoothly.
In terms of books, I’ve read Stanley Gucci’s memoir, Taste, and Happy Place by Emily Henry. Both are fun and good reads.
Sounds like great weekend activities! We had a beauty of a weekend here. Did a run with an event work sponsored. It wasn’t horrible haha. Looked at paint colours. Our house is mainly a light blue which is fine but there are brown accent walls which we don’t like. Thinking of other accent walls — maybe grey or tan or just white? White would be clean and fresh but maybe boring?
I deleted Instagram and Facebook from my phone (again…). I plan to only look at those sites on my laptop.
My friend’s mom passed away. I won’t be able to go to her visitation. I can only think of sending a card and making a donation as requested. Right now he is ok for meals and such so he says
Edit: just saw anon’s post. Ugh hope your cyst is ok.

I got the Lole belt bag in beige from Costco! It is a Lululemon dupe.
The Shark Flexstyle came in. I was in a rush when I tried the first time. I can see there’s a learning curve but excited to try.
Congrats on making it through Invisalign, @copa!
I do to hope see TSwift if and when she comes to Canada. It will be crazy trying to get tickets.
I’ve been invited to my first Indian wedding! It’s just the night portion. Not sure if I should wear something traditional or if western style is ok. Probably the latter is ok for night. I’ll have to ask the groom who is my friend. Also not sure who is invited from our friends to see what they are wearing!
That is fun you have been remodeling your home @moneypenny!
Thanks @Vathena! I think the loss of control is my biggest “concern”. It seems really fun when they develop their own personalities.
My husband got the Shark Flexstyle with reward points. I will let the thread know how it turns out when it arrives!
