I’m sorry Wendy. Hope you and your family get through this. Also hope your niece and fam do ok L4L
I saw the NYT article Wendy posted on her IG stories on reinfection. It’s disheartening. I just don’t know how to proceed with life socially anymore. Do normal things and when you have a big event coming up be more cautious? Yes I am thinking of our upcoming wedding haha.

I think that’s one bright side to the pandemic — we can wear jeans to the office as long as we aren’t seeing clients
Sometimes I want to compliment someone on a nice outfit or a hair style but then I don’t because I don’t want to be inappropriate, even though it probably is ok.
Congrats Ange!!! That is so exciting! The housing market is crazy here too (Greater Toronto Area) although I think it’s starting to cool. I heard in Australia you have an auction bidding system? For us we have “blind bidding”. Sometimes it feels like it’s a chance for dishonest realtors to jack up the price by pretending there’s another higher bid.
Ah I see!
It’s pretty low key —- axe throwing and dinner. So the risk is pretty much going to a restaurant. Initially I had asked my bridesmaid what she thought her travel plans would be —- if she thought she would come earlier and “wfh” that week or if she’d arrive later on in the week. She thought she’d do the former so we planned around it. I guess the risk of catching COVID close to the wedding wasn’t as on my mind. I would have wanted to do it in May more for scheduling and stress before the wedding. It’s planned now though.
Omg neighbour guy!! Glad it worked out for him haha.
I also did the gamut of online dating five (!) years ago and it sounds about the same.
I like that chunky sandal with the dress!
The wedding is in a month!! Just hoping to avoid Covid now 🙁 also we planned our bachelorette to be the week before because one bridesmaid is out of province and I didn’t want to plan it when she couldn’t make it. Turns out she might have a work trip so she might not be able to make it to the bachelorette and it’ll all be for naught.
Frick I am livid @kate. Hope you will be ok. It’s one thing to come to work sick. It’s another to say you’re pretty sure you don’t have COVID.
After my sister tested positive, so did my BIL and niece. All symptoms mild. My mom tested positive but not my dad somehow (so far). Those 70+ are now eligible to be assessed for antivirals but because she wasn’t showing symptoms and has had all 3 shots she wasn’t eligible. I guess that makes sense. Antiviral uptake has been low here because the government has done a poor job of publicizing it. My fiancé should be eligible if he gets COVID (hopefully not) because he takes immunosuppressants for Crohns.
Damn, that is so tough anonymousse. Glad you’re getting treatment. My friend seems to have a serious case. Appearing as rashes around the rib cage. She is actually a bridesmaid. She thinks she can still make it for my wedding in June. There aren’t many wedding responsibilities but it’s a long day.
