I just met with the CEO of a tech company and I really liked him. I didn’t get a crazy or arrogant or weird vibe from him at all, and I’m used to crazy CEOs. I met him at the Ritz, which is fun, and I met the hiring manager last week at a coffee shop. It keeps feeling like a good online date that could go somewhere. I don’t think there are any “next steps” after this, so I hope they also feel like it’s a fit. They seem to.
So lame. I have muscular calves because I’ve always walked around on tiptoe since I was a kid, and wear a lot of heels. I also wear makeup AND enjoy the outdoors.
A size 6-8 looks tiny on many people btw!

I have two different companies that have gone from external recruiter to phone interview to in-person with hiring manager. In one case I met with CEO also and next step is to meet the people I’d be managing. In the other case I’m going to meet the CEO this week. It’s a lot of work!!! Having a motivated external recruiter involved really helps though.
Hmm, regarding scheduling this interview, how many emails have you sent and how many voicemails? Have you tried sending a short email from your phone? Texting feels a little invasive at this point, though I get your sense of urgency.
I think it’s ok, she gave you her cell #, and time is tight for scheduling.
I used to get an email alert that someone left me a vm on my desk phone, but that stopped a while back and now I never know if I have messages on the desk phone or not. She probably doesn’t either.
Just sound friendly with a smile in your voice when you get her or leave a message on her cell and keep it brief.

Awesome! Yeah, you should always send them, but if one doesn’t go through or you forget, it’s not necessarily a deal breaker. It also may have gone through for all you know.
Different topic – that trick where you draw a hashtag on the outer corner of your eyelid with a pencil and then smudge it out with the smudger end for a smokey eye in seconds? It actually works! I do brown for day and it looks really nice.

Although if you replied to the chain and suddenly got a bounce back, maybe she’s been let go.
