If you do buy expensive pointy toe shoes, don’t wear them until you have a cobbler put reinforced soles on them. Otherwise the soles are so thin that the toes just immediately scuff up.
And if you buy Louboutins, a cobbler will put red vibram soles on them. That will increase their resale value and keep the red bottoms from getting all manky. I’ve never bought Louboutins but I learned all this on Poshmark. I’ve been tempted by the So Kate ones, not just because of the name.
Don’t ever do a trade!!! I remember some crazy scammer was pretending to trade Louis Vuitton duffle bags for other designer handbags and sending boxes of garbage and cat toys in return. You can’t make this stuff up.
I don’t think that’s throwing money away.
Yeah, gold makes them lose their minds. I went through all my ex-bf jewelry and a bunch of my mom’s stuff too. That was quite a crazy ride.
Oh girl, where do I start? I can email you my username as well if you want and you can see for yourself by reading the comments.
Some you might consider donating to a women’s org like Dress for Success (they just had an accessories drive) and take the tax deduction. Poshmark requires a strong tolerance for dealing with wacked out chicks.
Poshmark or eBay are my choices for that shit. If you sign up on Posh I’ll tell you my username so you can see what I did.
The logo bags are extremely polarizing, from “must have and will use the rent money or buy a fake” to “so tacky, I would never!” Good luck!
Oh, I forgot wedding etiquette. And designer logo bags.
Or you could just shop online instead of trying to pick a trigger fight!
