Thanks MissDre! One is a veterinarian and one is an engineer and they seem very different but both seem nice! And later this week is the play and picnic with my friend the happy hour guy! Lots to look forward to
Sounds like tons of fun! I am super excited to see Mr. Attentive on Friday (man, I really need to come up with a better nickname for him, I didn’t think this one would stick). We’re going out for dinner!

I’m no help with names lol. Happy hour guy is a firefighter but that was taken by someone else earlier in the thread. So I have happy hour guy, vet guy and engineer guy lol
We are sort of long distance so we don’t see each other as often as I would like, but he’s been really good about coming to visit me regularly and we talk on the phone and face time every day. I say “sort of” because his actual home is in another city, but he’s often based in my city for his work (which is how we met). He has mentioned the possibility of asking for more assignments in my city to be closer to me, so I think it’s something we’ll talk about on Friday.

I have an orientation I am going to tomorrow in Edmonton for the rest of the week, kind of hoping for some sweet eye candy, but other than that livin’ the single life!
We had a really cute planner come into work today, his company does some consulting work for us, and is friends/old school mates with my co-worker. So that was lovely 😉
@Cleo yep! I’m trying a new one called Bumble. The women have to start the conversation after you match, but otherwise it’s the same format as tinder – just less foolishness I suppose? The vet and I also matched on match.com and started talking there. It’s funny because I went from being interested in no one out there to two potential guys pretty much over the weekend. Doesn’t mean anything will come of it just that it all ebbs and flows apparently.
Glad you’re enjoying the eye candy! Now that I’m no longer on location out of the office most of the week I don’t get to see the men in suits everyday. Tis sad.
More importantly, I got my fire breathing unicorn workout tank for crossfit and I’m super pumped to have the most badass shirt at the gym tonight.
Yay for everyone having fun dates! And for Mr. Attentive being actually consistently attentive!
I actually did have a date last night, even though I’m still generally in kind of a funk. Really nice southern guy, lots in common. My kind of nerd. A little put off because toward the end of the night he said “Wow, I just really really like you” about every ten minutes. But apart from that, it was a nice time.
So much happening! I am glad some of it is good and exciting. @Stonegypsy I jave many internet hugs for you if you want them.
So, its only been a month but I am pretty sure the guy and I are going to have a DTR talk tomorrow. I have been out of town for a week and we really missed each other. He is one of those door opening, flower bringing kind of gentlemen which is so nice. I have been ghosted so much i was considering an exorcist!
So, scary amd exciting times up here in small town BC.
I opened up my OKC account after deleting it for a while. It seems like the only guys who send me thoughtful messages are ones I am just not that attracted to, and I feel bad because I can tell they put time into their message but I just don’t want to reply. Hope something works out of this.
