Trump’s NEEDLESS insanity today via twitter SOLIDIFIED my long held belief that if Trump loses in November — still a very big “if” — He will then take to twitter and try to bring about a violent uprising so he remains in office.
Instead of “Liberate Wisconsin” — it will be “Revolt America!” And things will REALLY go sideways…
VathenaApril 17, 2020 at 8:25 pm #880677Trump is a fucking dipshit. He already has the blood of thousands on his hands (covid patients, immigrants, etc) I guess he’s going for a record. Also, it’s great how they vastly underfunded the small business assistance program so our communities will be further destroyed by their incompetence and malice. Thumbs up their asses!
I might finally get the Revlon brush just to have something frivolous and interesting to do. My hair actually does air dry pretty nicely…if I sleep on it when it’s still damp. I get a nice “beachy waves” look in the morning. But it frizzes out if there’s humidity.
Helen, hang in there and keep monitoring! And yes, think good thoughts about immunity! I’m almost a little jealous in a way of people who have gotten sick and recovered. Then they maybe don’t have to worry as much. (I know that’s weird!)
April 18, 2020 at 12:34 am #880689We had a bunch of idiots in my state protesting our stay at home order. Here in MN we’ve got the lowest cases per capita and these fucking morons out here gathering in groups without protective gear getting to change that.
I just can’t with these people. I just want to blast off this planet forever when I see this nonsense.
@Copa, you definitely do get a better result if you use the JF brush on high instead of low. I used a Living Proof leave-in and their 5-in-1 Styling Cream that has heat protectant, and did it on high today, twisting the brush on the last pass through. It has bounce and curled ends and looks really cute. It was definitely faster too.
We’re going to a Zoom party tonight, lol. Never thought I would say that.
BittergaymarkApril 18, 2020 at 3:04 pm #880755Three or so weeks ago, while walking I came upon a hedgehog cactus that a car had crashed into. There were three pieces busted off.
I went home, grabbed some tongs. And a box to retrieve them. Then stuck em in the sand. This was only a few weeks ago… today one of those pieces bloomed. A huge, flower in hot pink.
I’ll post a picture on park_place_oasis soon.
Other news, too windy to spray paint. I’d kill for a garage. 😉
So we had a Zoom cocktail party last night, and there’s this thing that this group of friends has always done that works really well for this medium. It’s called story bashing. Someone starts telling a story, and everyone interrupts with a bunch of questions so it takes forever for the person to tell it. It used to happen in the pool, because this is a group of people who would get together at a beach house every year. Works great on Zoom. It’s kind of a roast but not outright mean. It’s like, “wait, wait, what were you wearing?” “How turned on were you right then?” You can pretend to be Barbara Walters or whatever. It’s especially great when it’s someone who typically makes bad decisions.
BethanyApril 19, 2020 at 6:40 am #880797I just got word last night a girl I babysit when I was in HS has tested positive for Covid-19 and my sister’s best friend since they were 8 is being tested. They both work in a hospital in The middle of the lower peninsula of Michigan. My parents also told me I had relatives in the protest at the capital in Michigan. My mom is telling me and my brothers she is going camping this summer because she is 65 and doesn’t have many more years left. I can’t with Michigan.
And then here in Virginia, I live in the hot spot for infections and MOTHERFer Donald Trump is tweeting liberate VA and some nonsense about 2nd Amendment. AND I am straight up scared there are enough people who believe him to make an extremely bad situation a complete and utter catastrophe.
My husband and I are preparing are “sick” room today and putting stuff down on paper….just in case. I have to get off of Twitter and Facebook it is only making me more scared.
