Ha, I just remembered my husband had been married. He got married when he was very young, and for various reasons it didn’t work out.

You are right, Kate, I shouldn’t have said “hate kids.”
I honestly was just curious what the reasons were. I had never dated a man with children before I married, but I wonder if I would have or not. If it was the right guy, I can’t say I wouldn’t have. And I can understand the various reasons you’ve all mentioned.
My last long term relationship before my husband was with a divorcé. They only reason it ever affected us, was he had major trust issues as she had had an affair, his subsequent girlfriend had also cheated…anyway. Good topic.

It’s definitely interesting as a married and child-having person to read this. Why wouldn’t you consider a divorcee or man with a child, assuming you don’t hate marriage or children? To be the “first?”

Asking as a friend, not as a criticism.

I can see where that could get a little confusing.
I was thinking, I love hugs and cuddles, so that sounds nice! But the only male friends I ever did that with were definitely not ever interested in more, and neither was I.

Lianne, that’s awesome you have an easy baby!
My second is pretty easy as well, lately not with nighttime sleeping though.

Veritek…I think you should stop thinking about it, and just go with it. He sounds nice, and like you have fun together. What’s a little affection between friends, eh?

Kare…how do you think you sort of had a foursome? Lol. You need to enlighten us with more details!
I haven’t personally used this, and I have no idea if it would help with your pain (although turmeric is really good for pain and inflammation, and I have used that) but I have a friend who takes this and told me all about it a few months ago. It’s at natural food/health stores.

I love that every generation bitches about the new. I’ve actually read quite the opposite about millennials.

    *shakes fist* damn kids!

I care! (Yes, I know I’m over enthusiastic and encouraging occasionally) I like hearing what y’all are up to! I’m basically at home most of the time and burping a baby. It’s not exciting (even with all the poop and food throwing) so enthrall me with your more exciting lives.

    I love that article!

Love that @stone. And it’s truer than what I said. DGAF about stuff/people that don’t matter. Save the fucks for the important stuff.

Real life begins when you DGAF. – my opinion.
