I’m not predicting. Most people who get married, do because they love each other, they want no one else and they want to be tied together, forever. Does that sound like a single, datable guy to you? Oh, it does.

You are right. Anything can happen. Go for it. Be sure to let’s us all know how it turns out.

That person meant that a guy who would cheat on his wife WITH you, would be more likely to cheat ON you. Someone who would do that once, would do it again.

But of course that would not apply if their marriage just fell apart and ended for no other reason than that people get divorced a lot in their 20s, and you didn’t work for him and you ran into each other somewhere and started dating.

The divorce rate is going down, according to the latest studies. Those 50/50 stats were based on people who got married in the later 20th century, like the 70s and 80s. I mean, sure, it’s higher for people who get married really young, but it’s decreasing not increasing.

not making a move is not the same thing as finding a way to move on and focusing on different, healthy, attainable relationships. at this point keeping the anything could happen thing up isn’t healthy for you. you have to be able to move this guy from ‘anything could happen’ to fantasy and let it go. find someone available to focus on.

the second part of that is letting go of this guy and the idea that anything could happen. as hopeful as that could be for some people, in this case for you, it’s not.

Good for you. I hope this guy is single, available and not someone at work or in a position of power over you.
