That would make me so angry. “It’s no ones fault.” Ugh, yes it is. The person installing it should have known better and if she had any sense she would have known better, too. I’d be livid. She’s absolutely responsible for the damage and should be apologizing, not shirking responsibility.
January 16, 2021 at 8:33 am #1006135You have the self awareness of a rock.
I agree, have some respect for your marriage and wife and tell her what you’re doing.
January 14, 2021 at 10:22 am #1003904I’d love some makeup recs. I just threw a bunch of makeup out. I ordered the John Frieda brush!
LadyE, what do you use for your auburn brows?
December 30, 2020 at 1:36 pm #987962No, what brand for the finishing stick? You might have just finally sold me on this JF brush.
December 30, 2020 at 12:38 pm #987917I still love my revlon brush. I have considered the John Frieda one, because I keep hearing good things about it but I feel slightly silly considering buying another hot brush tool.
My hair is the longest it’s been in years. I also have a ton of new hair growth that’s like, 1.5-2.5” long. It looks kind of crazy right now. I try to tame it but I’m struggling with the right amount of hair product to keep the new growth down and not overdoing it. I think I probably lost a lot in the beginning or middle of quarantine when things were really stressful and I was sick.
December 17, 2020 at 12:32 pm #974977I’m angry, too. Mostly at family for pretending the virus isn’t real or a big deal. The family close to us keep hosting get togethers and then make us feel like shit for not going. My mom and stepdad in AZ don’t wear masks. They say no one where they live wear masks, and no one cares, etc and their area is hard hit right now. It’s amazing the cognitive dissonance. And my mom is the type who has literally posts memes about polio on FB and how lucky we are not to have that anymore. Both of their mothers were nurses and would be aghast at them.
I don’t know if it’s the virus/loneliness/all this family shit but we’re literally contemplating moving back to Seattle. We moved here for family, and while that’s been okay….it’s pretty strained right now and after three years of being here it’s not fun to imagine moving again, but also….I realize I am not really very happy here.
December 8, 2020 at 12:42 pm #969350Yes, don’t use retinol if you’re pregnant.
I do have sensitive skin and had to slowly start retinol and aha products. Like, twice a week on different nights. And I use a heavier moisturizer when I use retinol/winter. I have some caffeine eye products that help with puffy eyes that I like. I do have the Roc retinol eye cream but I haven’t ever used it consistently.November 24, 2020 at 7:22 pm #964730Glad you are okay, Veritek. It’s really infuriating that you had to work in person.
My sister also has to work in person, not because her job necessitates it but because her boss is a dick and doesn’t trust his employees to work at home. It’s really nuts. She was actually in a closed door meeting with a woman who’d been traveling for work, didn’t quarantine and tested positive the next day. Somehow, my sister didn’t get infected.
Now we’re getting notices pretty much everyday of how many additional kids have tested positive at our tiny local elementary school. They have brought back some kids, by choice 2 days/week. We chose to stay at home and do cyber. They’ve shut down the schools again starting next week, but it’s raging through the building.
Stay safe, everybody.
November 24, 2020 at 3:26 pm #964717My next door neighbor just died from Covid. I brought groceries to her door last Monday. I didn’t know her much at all, but I’m a little shook up.
